I had to do this for school a few months ago, and I thought that I’d share it with you! Below my essay are a few of my favorite pictures I found online. I just searched Pictures of Patagonia, and it came up with a whole bunch of breathtaking pics!
Imaginetravel.com wrote: “There is no adjective that can best describe how awe-inspiring it is here. It is a vast and remote wilderness bursting with jagged mountains, emerald forests, snow-capped peaks, luminous lakes, and ice fields.”
Sounds pretty great, right? The beauty and awe of Patagonia may be one of the best-kept secrets of amazing vacation destinations. To be honest, before I was supposed to write this essay, I don’t think I’ve ever even heard of Patagonia (I know, crazy, right?!). I’m excited to write this essay because then I’ll learn more about it by helping you learn more about it! So let’s dive in!
The scenery in Patagonia is stunning. Patagonia is known for its breath-taking scenery, jagged mountain peaks, and enormous glaciers. You can experience the incredible scenery by hiking, biking, or horseback riding.
Famous mountain climber Yvon Chouinard said, “It is a mystical, almost imaginary place.”
In addition, everywhere you look, you may feel you are looking at the perfect scene for a postcard.
Patagonia sounds beautiful!
Do you love animals? If so, you will love the variety of wildlife in Patagonia. Who could pass up the opportunity to swim with sea lions, watch majestic whales rise out of the water, and walk with penguins?
Some of the best snorkeling in the world is in Patagonia. While snorkeling, you can see amazing fish, sea lions, dolphins, and more.
(On land) you also might see foxes, flamingos, condors, and pumas!
Patagonia doesn’t just have stunning scenery; it has amazing animals, too!
So, as you can see, Patagonia is one of the best vacation spots on earth! It has stunning scenery and lots of different animals!
Now, I hope that I put the idea in your head of taking a vacation in Patagonia. And, maybe, one day, we could go together!
Very well written! And beautiful pictures. Shall we go camping there this summer?
oh, yes please!
I too had never heard of Patagonia. It must be near one of the Poles, sparkling with such untouched beauty, also I imagine probably very cold year round. Brrrr! It is the kind of place that I like seeing in pictures. Thanks for sharing.
