Whether people tell you that you do or don’t, you have purpose.
My mom once told me: “You were created ON purpose, FOR a purpose, and WITH a purpose.” I’ve never forgotten it.
I bet we all sometimes go to bed wondering, “Well, if God gave me a purpose, then what is it?”
I’m no fortune-teller (who is on this planet?), but I know this: God has a good – no, GREAT – purpose for you and me. Maybe you’ll be a great doctor who saves lives, a wife/husband and parent, a pastor, an author, a fitness coach, an architect, or something else. Whatever it is, I KNOW God is going to use you in some way to help change the world.
God didn’t send you down here, on earth, for nothing. He gave you a purpose. Why would he send you down here just to say, “Whoops, well, she doesn’t have a purpose, but, I guess she’ll just have to live with it so, whatever”? Obviously you didn’t get sent down here for nothing. So why not read his word and use your talents God gave you so one day you can, not change the entire world, but change a little part of it?
Remember: You were created ON purpose, FOR a purpose, and WITH a purpose.

Another excellent post. Right now I’m helping a friend who just lost her husband to dementia. We are walking through the planning of a funeral and thinking on her future without him, purposes that God is still working out in her life.
