Mashed potatoes, warm rolls with butter, stuffing, those jellow-y cranberries, pies and whipped cream, green bean casserole, my grandpa’s fruit salad…. Oh, I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
Thanksgiving isn’t my #1 favorite holiday (Christmas!), but, I mean, it’s still a great holiday! (Especially since the day after thanksgiving we set up for…CHRISTMAS!!!)
Thanksgiving is basically just a big reminder reminding us to be thankful. There is so much in life that we can be grateful for – our family, our friends, our sports teams, clean water, food when we want it, a roof over our heads…. And those are just a few things.
Today is not a very long post (sorry!). I just want to give you a challenge: Find a blank piece of paper (c’mon, I know you have one) and a pen or pencil or marker or colored pencil or a Sharpie or whatever you want to write with. Take a few minutes (or throughout the day) and write AT LEAST 50 things that you’re thankful for. I know, it may sound a little difficult now, but trust me, it’s so easy. And once you do it, comment below that you did it – and maybe a few things that you wrote on that list (You better be thankful for my blog…)!
Happy Thanksgiving! 😉
Happy thanksgiving !!!! And great post !!!
Lovely post… I’ll get back to you when I complete my list❣️❣️
I’ll be waitin’!
Me too. Love reading your blogs and will summarize my thankful list with favs shortly. Of course you know that you and family and the Lord are tops.
Just finished my 50. Good exercise in gratefulness. Thanks!
