Hey everybody! Skywalker here! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a almost-five-month-old bearded dragon. Charity and her family got me from the pet store on December 27th, when I was about 2 months old. I love it here. They take good care of me and let me watch TV with them (and don’t get too mad when I poop on them…).
Charity agreed that I could come on here a couple times a month and tell you all about my week.
So, this week….
Jace keeps asking what my middle name should be. Charity keeps jokingly saying it should be Mr. Mischievous. Me? Mischievous? No way.
Charity keeps constantly measuring me. At least once a week. Last time she did, she said I was about nine inches. When they first got me, I fit in Charity’s hand. Now I’m much bigger than her hand! They all keep talking about how big I’m getting and how much I’ve grown since they got me.
They give me multiple baths EACH WEEK. I used to really hate it, but I guess it’s not so bad now…I like to flatten out and absorb the heat. Sometime I’ll puff my beard out, but it does nothing. They just stand there and are like, “Oh, look at his cute baby beard!”
I just moved into a new cage. It’s big and I have a lot of space, which I like.
There’s this new cave I have in my new cage that I really like. I can hide from everyone. They made it like a game to see who can find me (see picture).
I haven’t been eating a lot of crickets lately. Not real hungry, I guess. And with the my move and everything.
My mouth is going to shed soon. Charity says it’s interesting how my mouth will shed, then my tail, then face, then legs, then body. My body takes turns shedding in different places each time. It’s very random.

My week? Monday lunch at Coffeeville with wife and couple from our condo complex. Tuesday ping pong.. Wednesday watch grandkids. Thursday teach class at church. Friday…hasn’t happened yet… haha.

I really enjoy hearing about your life, Skywalker. It is very interesting. And you are growing so quickly. That’s great news about larger home and cave. The cave is a great place to hang out/ hide out as you grow and get used to your new environment.
Well, you asked about me. First of all, I guess you could call me Grandmother. I never dreamed I would become a grandmother, or maybe it’s great grandmother,, to a bearded dragon. Regarding my week, same as Bob. On Monday, Coffeeville with friends. Tuesday, the pleasure and privilege of being with my grandchildren and giving two of them piano lessons. Wednesday, lunch with my sister-in-law and to colori her hair. Today so far I’ve been to the chiropractor. He straightened me out. Sometimes I need that. This afternoon it’s to the dentist. And tomorrow I pick up my new glasses at Costco. How exciting, right?
Well, getting back to you, I’m so happy that you are part of the Mahlstedt gang now.
And as far as a middle name, how about Jr for junior. Just so people don’t confuse you with the other Skywalker.

Awesome I love the name skywalker and to be honest I do not know what would be a good middle name but I bet you will think of a great one. Or you could just use the name Luke and it would be skywalker Luke which would be funny because if you turn it to Luke skywalker well obviously it would like star wars .
